We are a boutique, 4-room early learning centre located in Mudgeeraba, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Gold Coast hinterland. Mudgee Kids is a family-owned and operated centre, offering a warm, nurturing environment where children can explore, discover, and grow.

With ample outdoor space set amongst nature, we embrace a play-based approach that encourages curiosity and adventure. Our personalised care and strong relationships with families create a welcoming atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported.

  • Open 52 weeks of the year Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. The licensed hours of care are from 6.00am to 6.00pm.

    • A broad brimmed or legionnaires hat. Baseball caps are not recommended for protection against the sun.

    • A change of clothing.

    • The Centre supplies sunscreen. However, we do ask that parents apply sunscreen to their children before arriving at the centre. Educators will re-apply sunscreen prior to going outside. 

    • Sipper cup or drink bottle.

    • Bottles containing dairy, formula or breast milk (clearly labelled with your child’s name).

    • Comfort items such as dummies and soft toys, etc.

    • If your child is toilet training, sufficient underwear for throughout the day

    • Please ensure all of your children’s items are clearly labelled with their name

  • Fees are payable for every day your child is enrolled, including public holidays, sick days and absences due to family holidays. Daily rates are determined based on the age of your child and the number of days they attend.

    We also offer a 50% discount on fees for a holiday period of 2 weeks (once per year). Minimum 2 weeks notice required.

    All fees are payable via our automated payment system Fat Zebra. We do not take any cash payments.

    The Australian Government provides financial assistance to eligible families towards the cost of child care. Families’ are responsible for contacting the Department of Human Services upon enrolment to lodge a claim for Child Care Subsidy (CCS). More information can be found on Centrelink - ‘My Family’.

    The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) helps families with the cost of child care. The amount you receive depends on your family income:

    • $0 to $83,280: You receive the maximum subsidy of 90%.

    • $83,281 to $533,279: Your subsidy gradually decreases by 1% for every $5,000 over $83,280.

    • $533,280 or more: No subsidy is provided.

  • We offer a limited number of spots for Before and After School Care, with safe and convenient transport provided by our own centre bus.

    During school holidays, children can enjoy an exciting Vacation Care program, filled with engaging and fun activities.

    Bookings are essential, as places are limited and fill quickly.
